Concept portraiture is a specialty for Acre 6. This is when an idea or concept is brought to life through green screen photography and digital artistry to combine an in-studio portrait with another landscape or scene. It is significantly more complicated than a simple cut/paste and requires a tremendous amount of thought and planning to figure out lighting and posing before the shoot itself takes place. Then there is heavy Photoshop in post production to make a seamless blend.
Concept portraiture is a great option for when the scene you are trying to set is not easily found. For example, picture a fireman in front of a burning building. Burning buildings are not a common find, so this photograph would be easier to green screen. The sky really is the limit with concept portraiture, and almost any concept can be done. These images can introduce fantasy, danger, and other concepts that would not be an option to create in a standard photo shoot.
